Heart Valve Abnormalities

Posted by

The heart is an organ which has four rooms, each room consists of two small rooms on the upper (atria) and two large rooms on the bottom (ventricles). And in each ventricle has one of each intake valve and a unidirectional valve out which direction. One valve is commonly called trikuspidalis open from the right atrium into the right ventricle and the pulmonary valve opening called the right ventricle into the pulmonary artery. While the mitral valve opens from the left atrium into the left ventricle, and aortic valve opening from the left ventricle into the aorta.

Each can have a lot of heart valve dysfunction either caused by the leak (valve regurgitation) or it could be due to failure to adequately open (valve stenosis). Both of these disorders can affect the heart's ability to pump blood. And worse still is the occasional one valve has both problems.

Here are some types of heart valve abnormalities:

Valve regurgitation Mittral
Mitral Valve Prolapse
Mitral Valve Stenosis
Aortic Valve Regurgitation
Aortic Valve Stenosis
Valve regurgitation Trikuspidalis
Valve Stenosis Trikuspidalis
Pulmonary valve stenosis.
